Greater China Consortium Committee Meeting At 2017 AASLD, Washington DC

Greater China Consortium held the 3rd committee meeting during AASLD 2017 in Washington DC. In total there were 20 members and distinguishing guests attended the meeting. Chairman of this committee meeting, Drs. Vincent Wong, George Lau and Arun Sanyal presented briefly the rationale of the study, study protocol and study procedure. Distinguishing guest Dr. Brunt EM presented the issues in the liver biopsy evaluation during clinical trials. Members had a great discussion on the study protocol. The consensus was reached on how to amend the protocol particularly how to evaluate the disease status using liver biopsy during the study follow-up period.
